Biography
Born in Port-of-Spain, Rep of Trinidad & Tobago. I discovered my love for writing and storytelling at an early age. My late father, Jeremiah Linford Thomas, who was a schoolteacher. He was very instrumental in nurturing and developing my writing and storytelling talents. Having taken creative writing classes in the past, I’ve never pursued writing at this level. That all changed when I encountered a series of challenges that changed the trajectory of my life. No longer was this story a figment of my imagination; I started writing this book with you, the discerning reader, in mind. I’ve decided it was time to share this remarkable story with you. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix- Boston and will continue to be a lifelong learner academically and spiritually.
Literary Style
I channel my passion into creating stories that transport readers to distant worlds and cultures and challenge societal norms and stigmas. My writing is a reflection connected with vivid imagery, convincing characters, great storytelling, and resilience. I believe this book will resonate with many and leave an indelible mark on the reader’s imagination. I hope that you will follow along and experience the emotions that each character brings with them.
Philosophy
I believe in the power of storytelling to inspire, provoke thought, and kindle the flames of curiosity. Through my work, I strive to inspire and motivate. Most importantly shows the power that we all have within ourselves to change not just an individual but each other and our community. My aim in this work is to create a story that not only inspires women, but the avid reader. I believe the reader can see themselves or the individuals they recognize with each character. Those who take on risks for the greater good of others. The ability to trust one another and showcase the power of the collective helping hands in operation, leaving a legacy of purpose and solidarity for future generations.
Beyond The Pages
When not lost in the worlds of my creation, you might find me spending my time developing my spiritual walk of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, which is the impetus that makes all things work in my daily life. I also enjoy cooking, taking photos of flowers and of my travels both locally and internationally. These experiences infuse my writing with authenticity and keep the creative spark alive within me.
